In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Taungurung people of the Kulin nation the traditional custodians of country on which the trail is based. We acknowledge and respect their ongoing connections to the land, waters and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands.
