Seymour Railway Heritage Centre operates heritage rail trips throughout Victoria, and have been operating in Victoria for over 40 years beginning with the restoration of the steam locomotive J515.
Their itineraries include day trips, overnight and multiday trips enabling patrons to experience the regional areas of Victoria. Their tours include heritage train travel in carriages built in the early 1900s and the 1937 Spirit of Progress. The carriages include compartment cars, dining and lounge cars as well as observation cars. Some of their trips include the carriages with end platforms primarily used in State visits enabling patrons to experience rail travel of a bygone era.
They include local sightseeing from the train as well as off train tours arranged with local tour operators.

Join in on their regional dinner trains where you have the choice of our seated dining option in our 1937 Spirit of Progress Dining Car or the Excursion option where you can bring along your own meal or pre order Dinner boxes or Gourmet boxes.

Join in on their inaugural Spirit of Albury heritage trip travelling from Seymour to Albury and return. The heritage diesel hauled train includes 1937 Spirit of Progress compartment cars, the iconic Parlor Car and their refurbished dining car.
Choose from a three-course meal in their Dining Car or a pre-ordered boxed lunch. Afternoon Teas will be available onboard. Light refreshments and drinks are available for purchase from the onboard Kiosk.
Depart from Seymour, Benalla or Wangaratta before arriving in Albury. Once you have arrived in Albury - you can choose to spend the afternoon in Albury and board the train at 7.30pm for the homeward journey. Other options include stopping in Benalla or Wangaratta for the afternoon and boarding the train on the homeward journey.
For those in Albury or Wangaratta you can join their Lunch Train for a return journey to Benalla.
