Alexandra Race Club opens the Victorian Picnic Racing season on Cox Plate Day.
Leave the rush and bustle of the city and join to celebrate the Spring Racing Carnival in the country. Punters are well served with local, Melbourne and interstate bookies.
Everyone can enjoy the sweet sounds of Pans on Fire, Marysville’s very own steel drum band. But don’t just come for the races make a weekend of it, there is plenty to do, over 2,000 beds worth of accommodation and plenty of fresh air.
Play golf at some very beautiful public courses at Alexandra, Yea, Eildon and Marysville. Go fishing, hire a party boat on Lake Eildon, bring your bike and ride the Great Victorian Rail Trail, dine out or follow a wine trail, walk the Cathedrals, go horse riding or check our Alexandra’s open gardens.
With so much to do, come and smell the roses at Royal Alexandra.
